You know, when people come to my home & make a big fuss about how warm it is it makes me cross! I don’t choose to have high heating bills! I don’t relish the thought of the pain that I get when the cold hits my body! It’s like someone wrapping me in barbed wire!
So please, before you complain about that warmth of Fugly Manor, think!
If I come to visit you in your home over the festive period and I leave my coat, hat, scarf & gloves on, it’s nothing personal. I just can’t afford to let my body get cold!
Fact is, if you come to my home, at times you’ll see me wearing my hat indoors! 9 times out of 10 you’ll see me wearing my scarf!
I have MS and I am constantly in pain. I manage my pain in many different ways, one of them being ‘not getting cold’
Christmas shopping done & so am I! Done in & in so much pain! Sat in car waiting for DebbieRahRah whilst watching all the crazy people look for parking spaces!
The world goes mad at this time of year! This is when you never forget what month your in!

Laughing hysterically at the dumbness of some delivery drivers!
Oh yes… My day just got better!…
There I was nicely nodding off whilst watching Bear Grylls when me and the 2 dogs jumped at foot off the sofa after being rudely startled by the loudest bang!
It appeared the delivery of dog food that was expected had just been delivered via throwing it over a wheelie bin that wasn’t obstructing the path, the DPD driver then carried on in his van without a care in the word!
Needless to say the way the box landed smashed the majority of dog food trays inside!
The dogs thought it was their lucky day when I opened the outer box and they smelt all the food! Poor buggers!
Oh yeah, before all that happened I had a phone call from Debs Mum, panicking about a certain item ordered from Ebay that hadn’t arrived!
Of course it was me that ordered it for her to be delivered to her address in Norfolk! The fact that it isn’t due to be delivered until tomorrow didn’t matter, it’s eBay! “What if it doesn’t arrive? It’s your money Vicky” she said! My money that she owes to me!!!
Can I just ask, what is it with people being so scared about Ebay?
You know when u wish u hadn’t made the suggestion in the first place!
Such fun!
It’s a good job I have the sort of attitude now where I can smile through days like today! 😜
So far today…
*I have had the worst Xmas shopping experience ever, where I nearly got down on the floor in Argos to do some pilates stretches hoping they would relieve my back pain even if just a little! Decided against that, only because I couldn’t get down to the floor & it was filthy anyway! (Sorry Lisa Perry, thanks for the reminder but I did them when I got home!)
*I’ve been given a sample of snail gel, or ‘snail slime’ as the lovely assistant in Holland & Barrett called it! Im not even nearly tempted to try it & will gladly pass it on to abyone that would like to try it if DebbieRahRah doesn’t want to!
*The H&B assistant also gave me some lozenges to try as well as the snail slime! I very politely asked if they were made from the snails shell! Good job she knows me & my humour 🙊🙈
*I nearly broke down in tears whilst on the phone to the pain clinic, just because the secretary said she would try her best to speed up my appointment for treatment. Skipping the consultation in January as I’ve seen the consultant plenty of times now for him to know me!
*I nearly stabbed myself in the foot whilst trying to make sure my delicate and mahoosive bougainvillea (plant) is wrapped up & warm ready for winter!
AND
*My phone decided it no longer wanted to have the Facebook app on it any where, even though ‘Google Play’ said it was installed! After a mini meltdown, restarting my phone several times, taking the battery out, taking the sim card & SD card out the Facebook app has reappeared! I have no idea why I thought taking the sim & SD card out was a good idea but something worked!
Glad to be home! Not moving from this sofa except when performing the triangle manoeuvre… Toilet, Kettle & back to the sofa! 👍👏
Snail slime! Really! 😨Snail shell lozenges! No, not really 🙊The sissors that fell so close to my foot but landed perfectly! Couldn't do that again if I tried!
Will I ever change!? I went to get my fatigue meds this afternoon like I do everyday and my morning meds were still in the medicine wallet!
Well that explains why I’ve been in extreme pain today then!
I’m happy to report it wasn’t my visit to the gym last night that has made my pain worse but the fact that I didn’t take my nerve meds until 2pm!
What a numpty!
I’m now no longer in as much pain as I was this morning/afternoon! The way I was feeling I really didn’t think I would be ok to go out to the cinema for our friends belated birthday present! That’s where I am now, sitting waiting for the film to start. We’ve come to watch the final part of ‘The Hunger Games’
