1st appointment of the day: Chiropody! Always good to look after your feet especially when you can’t feel them much!
I remember the first time I had this appointment, I hated the thought of it! I’ve always classed it as ‘for oldies’
Now I love it & look forward to it!

My body is getting stronger, slimmer and healthier everyday

I’m feeling really positive about my progress with my  ‘loosing weight & strengthening journey’

Not only are the scales showing me the results but I’m starting to feel & see them in myself!

This really is a case of ‘Mind over matter’ Its hard though, I know I can do this, I want to do it & I will do it no matter how long it takes me! 

Let’s not forget that the mind quits before the body! I have to push myself through those barriers.

This is an incredible journey!
Going to Pilates classes regularly is helping me to learn more about what my body can and can’t do because of my MS
Learning how far I can push myself & remembering not to push to hard!
I always have to think about my MS when I’m exercising! I can’t always do what I want to do and that frustrates me but I get over it!

mind, body & soul

I have learnt that sometimes my MS says no but really I can go! For example when fatigue hits me before or even during afternoon pilates, it’s ok to carry on! Those that can, do!

It’s all about acceptance!
I have to accept that at the minute my body isn’t at its best but it can be better.
I have to accept that yes I can be better but I can’t be perfect! Can anyone be? Would I want to be!

What an amazing holiday but i must say I have missed pilates this week so much!
I actually had to apologise to DebbieRahRah for my foul mood yesterday afternoon!
I know for sure now that my gentle exercuse routine helps me with my Chronic pain. Because I haven’t done anything  since Tuesday I’m finding it hard to cope with the pain & that makes me moody!

Roll on Tuesdays pilates! Can’t wait to get back to it!

This is so true! I am now realising that for nearly 5 years I sat back quietly doing nothing whilst I literally grew into my ‘new’ MS skin! (I wasn’t literally quiet though! I have never have been shy of letting my feelings known!)

I took the step once I had got to know the new me!

It really was an amazing step to take for me to do what I had to do to become the better me!

Take your time though, you & only you will know when your ready! When you do know the time is right I promise you that you won’t be disappointed at all!

Fasten up though because it will be a bumpy ride!
