Welcome to December! ❄⛄
Such a lovey time of the year, call me crazy but I always loved the hustle and bustle of December! Especially when we had our family 👩👩👦👦 shop, which, in its time, turned out to be one of the most popular in the town!
It was something special when all the family worked together as a team to serve customers as efficiently as possible! 👛🛍
That feeling when you’ve queued in the shops on black Friday 🛍, you trawled the internet for the best deal on Cyber Monday 💻, when you can’t decide whether to treat yourself to a fresh Christmas tree 🎄 and then like every year – decide that you could actually spend that money on the food instead 🍽 and you get the artificial tree out of the loft.
Next, you sit for an hour or more untangling the lights 💡 for the tree!
Static shocks ⚡️whenever you touch anything after handling all the tinsel, that you eventually threw on your tree 🎄
Try not to get stressed 😠 when you end up sticking all your fingers together, as you bravely start wrapping the presents ready🎁 for Santa’s 🎅 elves to collect. You’ve made it this far with your sanity intact, keep it that way just a little longer!
Lets skip through any more dramas that may try to own you and fast forward to sitting with the family 👩👩👧👦, surrounded by all that wrapping papehandd invisible sticky tape that got tree so stressed 😡. Now it lies on the floor, torn and screwed up! You got your own back on it! You eventually won that war! 💪
Laughter and love 💗 all around you as you sit at the table with your loved ones, a glass of your favourite beverage in your hand 🍷 and the bottle 🍾 at your side! Take a breath and feel proud! 👌
Enjoy this time, don’t let the madness of this month ruin the best time that is still to come!
Happy December everyone! 🙏💚
Oh yes i am! Absolutely loved Body Pump tonight with @keza_h! What an awesome instructor Kerry is! I never thought i would be able to do this class & not only can i do it but tonight i increased my weights again!
When I was diagnosed with MS I never believed I would feel as happy as I do 6 years on!
I feel proud of who I’ve become & who I am becoming!
Baby steps, many more to take and lessons to learn along the way!
I really am loving this journey even as hard as it is!
Happy World MS Day 2016!
Thank you to all my friends & family for your support & inspiration!
Also thanks to:
Mel Wells – my food & well being influencer
Louise Aviles – my yoga instructor, yoga influencer & good friend
Brilliant Fight Klub last night with Hannah Bailey!
Had this T-shirt with me so whilst I finished the class early as usual to try my best to get my temperature down, I thought it most appropriate to hold this top up during the gruelling abs section!
Everyone seemed to appreciate it 😄
Btw, I wish I could take part in the abs section but I have to use that time to cool down!
My internal thermometer is fooked thanks to my MS! When I over heat it triggers all of my symptoms, meaning I can hardly walk, balance, see, hear, talk, oh the list goes on!
At least once my temperature is at a safe level my symptoms subside and I just walk and talk like I’m pissed!
I’m so pleased I’ve found something that helps to keep me cool!
*the t-shirt doesn’t keep me cool, just to clear that up! It’s a cloth that is extremely cold when wet! For those that attend fight klub or any other cardio classes I attend, it’s that pink cloth I always have either around my neck or over my head like a nun! 😂😜*
