I love this journey!
I’m learning so much about myself every practice & its amazing!
I’m not saying its been easy, it really hasn’t, but what would I be learning if it was!
HAPPY ONE YEAR YOGA PRACTICE TO ME!

Shoulder strengthening yesterday in my own yoga flow!
Obviously the speed of this has been increased & you’ll notice at one point when attempting a side plank, I forgot which side I had already done! π Oh this MeSsy brain of mine π
Had a really good short weights & yoga home workout today, but the pain is so real!
Trying so hard to focus on the present and not the past!
This journey is for now, I wasn’t ready to be on it years ago!
Positive note: when I watched the video back for the first time in a long time, I thought to myself “damn, you look GOOD!”

Yoga 1-1 cancelled! Sleep to catch up on!
Slept well into lunch time!…
Well, I not only made it from the bed to the sofa, but I made a smoothie in between!
At least this isn’t causing me any pain yet!
The first little bit of goodness inside me since 6am yesterday! That’s excluding the jelly I managed to eat with no pain! π
Hard to believe that MS can cause so much havoc to the body!
I shall be resting now, need to be in optimum condition in preparation for my birthday weekend that starts on Thursday! π

βThis is what happens to me when I’ve been working out! EVERY TIME!
I have so many of my MS symptoms kicking off in this video! Slurred speech, trouble connecting my thoughts with action to put sentences together, poor coordination, blurred vision, oh the list goes on!
There’s me thinking working out would be easier in the winter, because of temperature difference but its actually harder!
Either the heaters are on in the smaller classes or the air-conditioning is turned down in the larger classes!
This is after body pump which is Les Mills weights
I have so much determination and passion for this class!
What you will notice about me is that I am passionate about everything I do & I always put 100% in! π―
I can’t do exercises that involve any movement, travelling, walking, running etc, unless its in water! This because of my poor coordination, balance, muscle fatigue and pain when moving my legs!
So I have found classes that I can do & turned these into my love!
weight lifting, pilates, yoga, I love them all the same!

And what a phenomenal journey it is! Loving every step, wobble, hobble and roll of it!
Its strange how things work out, at the time of writing this post 3 years ago, I had no idea how amazing my life was going to be!
I would never have believed you if you told me all the incredible things that I have had the pleasure to be involved in!
I wouldn’t have believed you if you told me I would be extremely good friends with Gold winning Paralympian Stephanie Millward and I wouldn’t believe u if u told me I was also fantastic friends with the truly inspirational Trishna Gauri
In fact, your friends with some absolutely freaking awesome people, some you’ve known all your life, some that feel like you’ve known all your life & some your still getting to know!
Vix, your network of friends are incredible!
And if you think I’d have believed that I would be working together with one of my best friends who just happens to be my Pilates instructor, yeah, 2014 Vix, in about a years time you start Kate King Pilates classes, and your passion is born!
You then, two years later help said Pilates instructor, who by the way becomes a massive inspiration, to build her business and I do believe you appear to be quite successful at it!
Oh and 2014 Vix, would you believe this, you start a Pilates teaching course! Not with the intention of teaching, but just because you want to!
Oh and you also fall in love with Yoga as well!
